Call for 2009 CAEYC Board Officer Positions
The California Association for the Education of Young Children is looking for our next wave of leaders to serve on the CAEYC Board of Directors Executive Committee.
CAEYC’s election process allows members to nominate another member or self-nominate for any state officer position that is open for election. This year, the positions open for election are:
- President-Elect (Two year term/Five year commitment)
- Secretary (Two year term)
Each position serves beginning July 1, 2009.
Review the Nominations & Elections forms and consider this opportunity for yourself or an Affiliate member to advocate for children and families by becoming an officer of the largest organization of professional early childhood educators in California.
We encourage all members to participate in the process--these are your representatives. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved and advocate for children and families. For questions please contact Kelly Lake, CAEYC Nominations & Elections Chair, at lake@sbcc.edu.
Potential candidate applications are due in CAEYC’s State Office on Friday, November 21, 2008 by 5:00 p.m.
