MISSION

Vision
San Francisco Association for the Education of Young Children recognizes a future where well-educated and well-compensated early childhood professionals unite to ensure that all young children will have entry to high quality, culturally and developmentally appropriate early care and education.

Mission
As one of the professional organization for early care and education in San Francisco, SFAEYC is looking to be a leader in the field by providing information about state and local public policy issues, educational training and resources to early childhood professionals. We advocate for systems of education and care that provide developmentally and culturally appropriate environments for young children and their families. We also strive to support equitable compensation and training for those in the field.

Please visit our Web site at http://pages.sbcglobal.net/sfaeyc for more information.

VOLUNTEER

Get involved and you'll help shape the future of the early childhood profession. Experience the power of diverse perspectives and shared commitment to young children and our profession as we strive to be a high performing inclusive organization.

San Francisco AEYC has become a powerful voice not only within the local community, but in the greater childhood development field, through continued support by volunteers. Our continued success depends on member volunteers who want to make a difference.

Please consider showing your support by offering a few hours per month of your time to help us make San Francisco AEYC a model affiliate. If interested, please contact us.
